The Internationalisation Skills (iSkills) Talent Development Programme was launched in July 2019 as part of the SkillsFuture Festival.

The International Trading Institute at SMU collaborated with Ngee Ann Polytechnic to develop the iSkills Talent Development Programme. This 6-month structured training programme adopts an applied learning model aimed at effectively equipping internationalisers with skills and capabilities for businesses to venture abroad.

Participants will learn skills such as Risk Management, Digital Marketing and Change Management from industry practitioners, business coaches and successful entrepreneurs. The programme features an overseas immersion trip where participants will kickstart actual internationalisation projects through business networking and proposal pitching with potential overseas partners.
